The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California he was 55 years old.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The celebrated industry figure passed away following his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
