Liverpool's Star Issues Statement to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Salah said sorry to the group of players following the uproar from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a vital match following criticising the club and stating his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the player.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also noted that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “I understand there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
The team's performance have been impressive in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the Salah's words were not designed to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a desire to win,” he finished. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and starting to win games.”
